A few month ago I collaborated with my dear friends from Small Fry on an infographic for essential oils. We don't get sick often in our household but we've used essential oils for various illnesses and have been so happy with the results. You can learn much more about essential oils from the post on Small Fry.
So it's perfectly acceptable to share work from over 6 months ago right?! I sure hope so because that is really how behind I am! Last year I worked with Tana from Mom's Best to create pieces for the Hot Holiday Product Event. She wanted to use neon, gold and washi tape as the jumping off point for the party. I created numerous slides that ran on the website, invites, party signs, thank you cards and much more. Here are just some of the pieces that were used for the event!

When Brooke contacted me about birth announcements for her little guy Spence, I was excited. She wanted something modern and not too babyish. I presented her two options. The first being just a standard announcement and the second being what we came up with here. I love that the design itself is still clean and simple, yet all the little details make it something special. The navy envelopes and petal envelopes are from Paper Source. I think I want to use petal envelopes in everything I do from now on! They add the perfect touch of sweetness and whimsy.
This logo is for Melissa Reibe, from Arkansas. I actually did her logo a few years back. She was ready for an update and this is what we came up with! Something modern, bright and fun, just like Melissa!
I posted my best friend Mary's engagements a few months ago. Since then, we've been working together on her wedding invitations and I am so happy I can finally share them! Mary and Steve are getting married in a botanical garden so the incorporation of flowers made perfect sense. Since many of the guests will be out of towners, we created a guide full of their favorite spots in New Orleans. I can't wait to do some exploring in April and be a part of their big day!
I've had these Valentine's in mind for awhile now. Adam brought home a pair of these disguise glasses a few months ago and I thought they were so cute on Rilo. Plus she thought she was hilarious in them. I found these miniature ones in a party pack at Walmart.
I worked on some mermaid invitations for California photographer, Heather Avrech. I don't normally do illustrations like this little mermaid so it was a fun change of pace!
I know it's already February, but I couldn't go without sharing this cute Christmas card for my good friends, the Oldhams. Kayti wanted to use a deer bust. After I brainstormed a bit, I thought what could be cuter than a little family of deer!?
I'm still playing a mean game of catch up around here! I finally was able to grab a couple of quick photos of recent design projects. Here is a baby shower invitation for an old friend of mine. Her husband is from Hershey, PA so they had a chocolate theme for this surprise baby shower!
